Lim kou:The sunflower has really bloom.
Jamie: The Singapore Sunflower seemed to be a little withered but it has made some improvements.
Lim kou: The Taiwan sunflower also made some improvements.
Jamie: The Singapore Sunflower is 45cm tall, the flower has a diameter of 1cm and has 13 leaves.
Lim kou:The Taiwan sunflower is 40cm tall and has 22 leaves.
Jamie: The trip had been postponed, i am feeling so sad that i could not ride on the aeroplane but i would be very happy if the trip would be at the December holidays.

Using the datalogger to test for carbon dioxide. 22 April 2009

Lim kou: The experiment is very fun and interesting.

Jamie: I think that the experiment was a success as the graph on the datalogger was on the right track. The datalogger was testing whether plants need carbon dioxide to do photosynthesis.

lim kou: First we stick the leaf on the bottle and Jamie blowed carbon dioxide into the bottle. Then we put the CO2 sensor into the bottle and we see whether the carbon dioxide will rise or fall.

Jamie: The graph on the datalogger rose a little and started to drop. When it rose, it meant that there is carbon dioxide in the bottle and when it dropped, it meant that the leaf is taking in the carbon dioxide.
